February 12, 20203 | 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
The EAEEG meeting will include an exciting symposium discussing EEG rhythms in health and disease and autism. Igor Timofeev, from Centre De Recherche Cervo Brain Research Centre, Montreal, will give the Presidential Lecture on “Slow-wave Sleep, Slow Waves and Epileptogenesis,” Krzysztof Bujarski, from Dartmouth, will give the Milner Lecture on “Amygdala Stimulation and Emotion,” and Lionel Carmant, Ministre responsable des Services Sociaux, Quebec, will present the Kershman Lecture on “Health Disparities in Epilepsy.” A special event this year is the Presidential Symposium where former presidents of the EAEEG will give talks on their areas of interest. Most importantly there will be an opportunity for residents, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and faculty present the result of their research. Breakfast and lunch will be available on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Those who attend both meetings will receive a $50 discount. Please contact the UVM CMIE office at uvmcmie@med.uvm.edu to receive the discount code to use when you register for the Epilepsy & EEG in Clinical Practice meeting.
