What You’ll Learn:
Coding essentials: Learners will gain confidence in using the Unix shell and command-line to navigate their file structure and work with files on their computer, culminating in writing custom scripts to automate repetitive analyses that will save you time.
Data manipulation, analysis, and visualization in R: Learners will work with tabular data and other core data structures, use conditionals and loops, write custom functions, and learn to create publication-quality graphics to communicate your research findings effectively. This workshop also introduces learners to RStudio and strategies for getting help.
Two Software Carpentries instructors and helpers will be available to address your questions throughout the each workshop.

Researchers from various fields with limited experience in command line computing
