The EPSCoR Research Fellows RII program provides awards to build research capacity in institutions and transform the career trajectories of investigators and further develop their individual research potential through collaborations with investigators from the nation’s premier private\, governmental\, or academic research institutions and/or centers.\n \n11:00 AM-12:30 PM\nStrategic Career Planning Workshop (in-person):\nThe new year is a perfect time for reflection and planning your professional trajectory. In this workshop you will learn about strategic planning and practical tips to manage the research and scholarship\, teaching\, and service expectations of your appointment. This one-and-a-half-hour interactive workshop led by Jessi Waite and Scott Lewins of UVM’s Research Development office\, will help you to align your values with your career goals\, set priorities\, and build connections. Materials will be targeted for early-career faculty at predominately undergraduate serving institutions\, but being proactive in planning is important no matter where you are in your academic career\, so all are welcome to join.
